I am writing to recommend Michelle Hawkins of Michelle Hawkins Real Estate who has acted as agent for us in the sale of our house in Pangbourne St. Wembley. Our house is now under offer and is due to settle on September 29, 2014. We have no doubt that Michelle has been instrumental in achieving this sale for us at the full asking price. We initially approached Michelle in June after she was recommended to us by a fencing contractor. Michelle came in with a realistic price which met our expectations but which was also accurate and achievable. As she understood the market and recognized the need to get our house on the market quickly, she arranged in conjunction with a wonderful interior decorator, Louise House, to do a substantial amount of work on our property and to present our house for sale within three weeks. We live in Queensland and were unable to return to Perth so we were dependent on Michelle to manage all the details. At all times she was extremely professional and meticulous in attending to the house and the many details necessary to prepare, and advertise our house ahead of the sale. Many of these details she attended to herself, not only personally purchasing plants for the garden but then planting and watering them. She generously lent us her own complimentary furniture for display and personally managed the actual furnishing and display of the house for us. The result was that our house was completely ready for sale, beautifully presented and advertised to a very high level of quality within three weeks. More than this, Michelle has graciously spent substantial time speaking to us over the phone, not only concerning all the details of the advertising, presentation, pricing and sale of the house itself but she has very kindly taken time to discuss our attachment and regret at parting with a family home which we have lived in, in the past and loved. Very importantly, at no time did we feel that she was unavailable or too busy to speak to us or answer any of our questions. Michelle has been meticulous in attending to our property and its sale. She opened the home three times a week, kept us informed after the home opens, attended to the details of the strata title, and most importantly engaged with potential buyers listening to their comments and perceptions regarding our property and informing us of changes we could undertake to make our house more saleable. After numerous phone calls and a meeting at our house in Perth (when I was finally able to travel) we feel we have come to know and to like her very much.
